Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has submitted the first batch of commissioner-nominees to the Benue State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, in a statement on Friday, said the move represents a major step towards strengthening the machinery of governance and improving service delivery across the state.
The nominees in the first batch are Theresa Odachi Ikwue, Benjamin Ashaver, Adamu Margaret Ijaguwa, Peter Oboh Egbodo, Yangien Timothy Ornguga, Denis Iyaighgba, James Dwem, and Paul Ejeh Ogwuche.

The second list of nominees is expected to be transmitted to the House of Assembly within a few days.
Alia reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, competence, and inclusivity in selecting individuals who will help drive his vision and developmental goals for the state.
