Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly apologized to her colleague Mercy Johnson, her family, and children, seeking forgiveness for past conflicts between them.
Okorie, speaking in a video shared on her Instagram page, thanked her fans worldwide for their continued support.
She acknowledged her imperfections and said that maturity and experience have shaped her perspective on life.
She explained that misunderstandings over the years were often fueled by third parties spreading rumours about each of them.
These situations, she said, caused arguments, tension, and public disagreements. Okorie added that she no longer wants such conflicts to continue.

She also cleared Mercy of the negative labels that had circulated about her.
Okorie said her apology was genuine and heartfelt.
Okorie spoke about their children, noting that the future is unpredictable and that the kids might meet anywhere in the world and form friendships.
She stressed that personal disputes should not affect the children and condemned any bullying directed at Mercy Johnson’s kids.
She also asked forgiveness from anyone she might have offended, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and described herself as a peaceful person who wants harmony.
Okorie said she views this moment as a fresh start in her relationship with Mercy Johnson and promised to stop relying on rumours, choosing instead to communicate directly in the future.
The actress revealed that she and Mercy Johnson had already spoken privately, exchanged apologies, and settled their differences.
She stated that she holds no grudge, expressed love for Mercy Johnson, and prayed for her continued success and progress.
This apology comes shortly after reports that Okorie was arrested in Lagos by the Criminal Investigation Department over allegations related to cyberstalking, threats, and harassment.
She was later released on bail set at ₦5 million.
