Arsenal drop points again as Wolves hold Gunners to tighten Premier League title race

It's advantage City after Arsenal drop points at Molineux.

Arsenal blew a two-goal lead at bottom-place Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday to give a huge boost to Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.

The league leaders were held to a surprise 2-2 draw at Molineux, having led 2-0 at a point in the game. Tom Edozie’s shot was directed into the net by Riccardo Calafiori in the fourth minute of added time to complete Wolves’ comeback.

The draw means Arsenal have dropped points in consecutive games and leaves the table-toppers just five points ahead of second-place City, having played a game more.

With the top two still to play each other before the end of the season, the title race is too close to call.

Bukayo Saka gave Mikel Arteta’s side the lead in the fifth minute before defender Piero Hincapie blasted in the second few minutes before the hour mark.
