Here are five historic feats Arteta and his Arsenal side achieved on their way to Premier League glory in 2025/26.
1. Arsenal scored a record 18 goals from corners
As at match day 37 – Arsenal lead the way on the most goals scored from corner kicks and in recent seasons have become the most dangerous set-piece side the Premier League has ever seen.
In total, Arsenal have so far scored 28 goals from set pieces, 18 have come from corners, a new single-season Premier League record.
Under set-piece coach Nicolas Jover, the Gunners so far this season have scored 18 goals from corners, the highest total ever recorded in a single Premier League season.

2. Arsenal produced their best defensive season in years
Arteta built his champions on defensive strength. Arsenal conceded just 26 league goals all season — comfortably the best defensive record in the division.
The partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel, along with David Raya in goal, gave Arsenal the platform to dominate matches throughout the 2025/26 campaign.
Meanwhile, the Gunners easily have the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 26 goals in 37 games this season keeping 19 clean sheets so far, and it is that solidity and love for defending that will define this title-winning team.

3. Arsenal are yet to concede a single penalty or red card this season
One of the most incredible records from Arsenal’s title-winning season is their disciplinary record as they are yet to give away a single penalty or red card so far and are on course to break another record if they can sustain their discipline in the last game at Selhurst Park against Palace.
These are quite remarkable feats in such a fast and physical league, that level of discipline and control is almost unheard of. While some may have argued about the luck of getting one or two decisions in their favour regarding red cards, the discipline shown by Arteta’s men is unrivaled and has no doubt contributed immensely to their title win.
