The result confirmed the Gunners as champions of the English top-flight for the first time in 22 years, as City needed an outright win to push the title decider all the way to the final day.
As it stands, Arsenal (82 points) lead City (78 points) with four points heading into the last game week of the league season.
Bournemouth impress at home to deny City victory and hand Arsenal title
Eli Junior Kroupi opened scoring with a well curled effort in the 39th minute, much to the excitement of the home fans.

The hosts played some good football and frustrated the efforts of the away side for much of the game.

City manager Pep Guardiola threw on the likes of Rayan Cherki, Phil Foden, Savinho, and Omar Marmoush to change the visitors’ fortunes. After much attacking forays, City levelled in injury time via Erling Haaland’s bullet shot from inside the box.
Bournemouth had two great, clear-cut chances to bury the game even before Haaland’s equaliser but somehow failed to convert. By the time Anthony Taylor blew his final whistle after the sixth minute of added time, Arsenal were confirmed champions.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta becomes only the second Spanish manager after Guardiola to win the Premier League title and also the second-youngest after Jose Mourinho to win it.
