Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye had a confrontation with a group of local boys who interrupted a film shoot and demanded payment from her production team during an outdoor scene in Lagos.
A video shared on X on Thursday showed the moment the group approached the set and asked the crew for money before allowing filming to continue.
The post, shared by user #Usmanashafe, quickly spread online and sparked conversations about the challenges filmmakers face while working in public areas.
In the footage, Bimbo Ademoye was seen addressing the situation directly while the men insist on being paid, a practice often described in the film industry as requests for “settlement” during location shoots in parts of Lagos.
She made it clear that she was open to giving money on her own terms but not under pressure or threats. She also said she had experience dealing with street situations but would not accept forced demands from anyone on set.

The discussion became more heated when a threat was made to shut down the filming equipment. She dismissed the threat and insisted the production would continue.
There were about three to five men involved in the disruption, and although they blocked filming for a while, no physical attack or weapons were seen in the video.
“I am a street girl, let me tell you. Ask around, when it comes to matters of the street, I like settling boys. But you don’t come to me and tell me to give you a certain amount. Yes, you came to beg. You are even being proud of it,” she said.
