ChatGPT gains Google Drive and Dropbox access

Chat GPT

ChatGPT now integrates with Google Drive and Dropbox, enabling seamless, efficient access to your stored documents and data.

According to The Verge, OpenAI has introduced a “record mode” feature, allowing ChatGPT to take notes during meetings, brainstorming sessions, or personal reflections.

This mode is currently available to ChatGPT Team users, who pay $25 per user per month with an annual commitment for a minimum of two users.

The integration enables users to query ChatGPT for information stored in their connected cloud services, such as asking about company revenue figures or travel details, with the AI providing structured responses and proper citations while respecting existing user-level access permissions.

These features are part of OpenAI’s broader strategy to capture the enterprise AI market, which is projected to exceed $1 trillion in revenue within the next seven years.

The company reports having 3 million paying business users, up from 2 million in February 2025, and counts clients like Block, Canva, Estée Lauder, and PwC among its users. By offering these new tools, OpenAI aims to position ChatGPT as an indispensable assistant in professional environments, competing directly with tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Anthropic.

The addition of cloud storage integration and meeting transcription capabilities signifies a significant step in making ChatGPT a comprehensive solution for enterprise productivity needs.
