Dolly Parton postpones Las Vegas shows until 2026 over ‘health challenges’

Country music icon Dolly Parton has announced that her planned Las Vegas residency will no longer hold this December, as earlier scheduled, due to health challenges that require her to undergo “a few procedures.”

The shows, originally slated for December 4–13, 2025, at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace, have now been rescheduled to September 17–26, 2026.

Sharing the update with fans on Instagram, Parton said her doctors had advised her to prioritize recovery, leaving her with insufficient time to rehearse and prepare properly.

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” she wrote.

The singer, however, reassured her fans that she is not stepping away from music.

“Don’t worry about me quitting the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you,” she said, adding that she remains committed to delivering her best on stage.

Fans who already purchased tickets will be able to use them for the new dates, while refunds will be issued to those unable to attend.

The decision follows a recent health scare in which Parton missed an appearance at Dollywood after developing complications from a kidney stone that led to an infection. Her doctors have since advised her to rest.

The rescheduled residency, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” is expected to be one of the most anticipated music events of 2026.
