Popular Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has revealed that he recently shared a large sum of money with people on the street, describing it as his own form of tithe.
He made this known during an interview with Broadway TV, where he spoke about his recent earnings and how he chose to use part of it.
According to him, he made about N102 million from movie roles within a short period, not over the course of his entire acting career.
From that amount, he said he set aside N10.2 million, which represents ten percent of his earnings, and gave it out to people in need on the streets. He explained that this decision was personal and tied to his beliefs and lifestyle.

The actor also stated that he does not attend church and does not follow the practice of paying tithe to religious institutions. Instead, he prefers to give directly to individuals who need help.
“Not to brag but I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made N102 million from artist’s fee lately. Not in my whole career but just of recent.
“I donated N10.2 million, which is 10 per cent of the money to the needy on the street.
“I don’t pay tithe to the church. I don’t go to the church. I don’t believe in paying tithe to the church,” he explained.
