Luka Doncic breaks Kobe Bryant’s Lakers record.

Luka Doncic produced a stunning performance to rewrite Los Angeles Lakers history as his 42-point display powered a commanding 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Slovenian star returned from suspension with authority, magnificently surpassing Kobe Bryant’s long-standing monthly scoring record.

His March tally climbed to 579 points. That figure edges past Bryant’s 578, a mark that had stood for nearly two decades.

“If you don’t win, it doesn’t really mean anything,” Doncic said after the game. “So the run that we’ve been on, it really means a lot.”

Redick also praised the team’s collective effort: “Luka may get the headlines here and there… But really it’s been every single guy.”

The Lakers had already sealed a playoff berth, although their dominance continues as they chase postseason glory.
