The Slovenian star returned from suspension with authority, magnificently surpassing Kobe Bryant’s long-standing monthly scoring record.
His March tally climbed to 579 points. That figure edges past Bryant’s 578, a mark that had stood for nearly two decades.
“If you don’t win, it doesn’t really mean anything,” Doncic said after the game. “So the run that we’ve been on, it really means a lot.”

The Lakers’ recent form has been impressive, having now secured 15 wins in their last 17 outings.
Meanwhile, LeBron James added another chapter to his legacy. He recorded his 1,229th career win, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record.
