Controversial Nigerian travel YouTuber, Emdee Tiamiyu has released a video on his social media account to issue an apology to Nigerians following reasons he gave for decisions of his fellow kinsmen to migrate to the United Kingdom.

According to Tiamiyu in an interview with BBC, many Nigerians come into the United Kingdom under the guise to study, but immediately abandon their school program to pursue a better life.

Emdee Tiamiyu stated that “It is not like they [Nigerian students] need the degree, they need the degree as an access road to come into the country. So, a lot of these people their priorities shifted real fast…It’s not really about their education.”
