FG shortlists candidates for NSCDC, NIS, fire service CBT

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) stage of its ongoing recruitment exercise into Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.

This announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the affected agencies include the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The statement advised applicants who applied for any of the four agencies to visit the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm if they had been shortlisted for the next phase.

“From Thursday, October 30, 2025, candidates are to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise, as well as centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Shortlisted candidates are further requested to take note of the venue, date, as well as time scheduled for the CBT,” Jubril stated.

He also urged applicants to ensure they access only the official recruitment portal to avoid being deceived by scammers.

News Round The Clock had earlier reported in August that over 1.9 million Nigerians applied for the Board’s recruitment exercise before the application portal closed on Monday, August 11, 2025.
