He urged Hart to continue his commendable conduct by “upholding due process, to stand by the truth and to always do what is right.”

Fubara congratulated and wished the Permanent Secretary a successful tenure.

“Today, I swore in Mr Austin Ezekiel Hart as a Permanent Secretary in the Rivers State Civil Service. This appointment is in recognition of his professionalism and integrity. I urge him to continue to uphold due process, to stand by the truth and to always do what is right”, his message read.

On Thursday, NRTC gathered that Fubara appointed Hart as a Permanent Secretary in a statement issued by the Office of the Head of Service and signed by Inyingi Brown.

This appointment follows a period of administrative changes in the state service.

It comes after the former Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Adm. Ibok-Ete Ibas, appointed and inaugurated eleven new permanent secretaries.
