Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has dismissed claims that she snubbed fuji star Pasuma during an event held in Lagos over the weekend.
The controversy began after a video shared on X showed the moment the Fuji icon appeared to seek Akindele’s attention while she was engaged in a conversation with another guest. In the clip, the actress remained focused on the interaction, prompting Pasuma to return to his seat.
The footage quickly gained traction online, with some users suggesting that Akindele deliberately avoided acknowledging the musician.
An X influencer, Uoladiti, shared the video with the caption, “Moment Funke Akindele snubbed Pasuma in public. This is not looking good at all.”

Responding to the claims, Akindele denied any wrongdoing, stating that she had interacted warmly with Pasuma during the same occasion.

“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity pls. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. pasuma is my Egbon. Pls you all should stop this evil,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, News Round The Clock reports that Akindele had recently been in the spotlight over a separate incident involving fellow actress Toyin Abraham, whom she was accused of snubbing at a movie premiere.
Following that episode, Abraham reportedly said she would no longer initiate conversations with Akindele.
