Gov Aiyedatiwa appoints CMD for UNIMED Teaching Hospital

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has appointed Dr. Michael Gbala as the Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) for the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo.

Aiyedatiwa’s Chief Press Secretary Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement said the governor further appointed Dr Adesina Akintan as the Acting Medical Director of Akure Complex (State Specialist Hospital, Akure) given the ongoing restructuring of the teaching hospital.

Moreover, Dr. Adeola Oladele Akintade was appointed as Acting Medical Director of the Ondo Complex (General Hospital, Ondo).

Their appointments take immediate effect and shall be for a probation period of six months after which a substantive CMD will be appointed over a fully restructured UNIMEDTH in line with the government’s desire to deliver quality, effective, and efficient healthcare services to the good people of the state.

Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the new appointees and tasked them to deliver their best for the people.
