His second term will be hell – Speed Darlington warns Nigerians against voting Tinubu

Nigerian entertainer Speed Darlington has spoken against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s plan to seek re-election in 2027.

He questioned the president’s fitness for another term and said his performance so far does not support a second chance in office.

In an interview with Honest Bunch, he pointed to the removal of fuel subsidy early in Tinubu’s administration, saying it triggered a sharp rise in the cost of living across the country.

According to him, many Nigerians who depend on fuel for daily survival have been hit hard by the resulting price increases, affecting transport, food, and other basic needs.

Speed Darlington also raised concerns about insecurity in the country, saying the issue has not been properly handled.

He argued that leadership decisions have made life more difficult for citizens and insisted that the current record in office does not justify another term for the president.

“You are here breaking your neck to become the next President of Nigeria but you are not qualified to be President again. From your first round, we know your second round is going to be hell fire. You entered office, the first thing you did is to remove subsidy, knowing very well that every thing about Nigerian life is attached to petroleum.

“My fellow Igbo people and Hausas and Yorubas and other tribes in-between, they pray, begging God to give them excuse to raise price and then you gave them reason, 1000% reason to raise price. Nigerians that are naturally greedy. Just tell me, what qualifies you to be President for a second term?

You are not qualified to be President again, You do not know the job, You have not done anything about insecurity in Nigeria”, he said.
