Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared how her 10-year-old son played a role in ending her long-standing conflict with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
The actress revealed that the reconciliation came after years of public disputes and personal pain.
During a testimony at Streams of Joy International, Tonto said her son, King Andre, had asked her if she had forgiven his father.
Though she did not answer immediately, he told her that if she had forgiven Churchill, he had forgiven her as well.
Tonto explained that her son had prayed for his international passport to be released, a request that unexpectedly helped resolve the tension between her and Churchill.
She recalled that at the start of a 21-day church fast, participants were asked to write down personal wishes.

When she saw her son’s prayer requesting the release of his passport, she realized the passport had been with his father all along, contrary to what she had told her son.
Shortly after, Churchill reached out to return the necessary documents to their son.
This prompted Tonto to talk to her child about his father, explaining their troubled past and expressing regret for the years of bitterness.
Her son responded with understanding and forgiveness, saying he was upset she had not told him sooner but accepted the situation.
The actress reflected on the decade of public conflict, saying that through this experience, she learned to forgive.
She described the moment of reconciliation as transformative, bringing her peace and ending ten years of tension in a single day.
