Nigerian singer Charles Chibueze Chukwu also known as Crayon, has spoken on how he was introduced to a drug mix known as “Backy” by fellow singer Tiwa Savage in 2018.
He shared this during a recent interview with streamer Caterefe, where he looked back on his early days in the music industry.
The substance referred to as Backy is a combination of drugs such as cannabis, tramadol, codeine, and sometimes rohypnol, rolled together in a blunt.

According to Crayon, the moment happened after Tiwa Savage asked if he smoked.
He said he answered in the affirmative, after which she gave him the substance.
He added that this encounter led him into regular use at the time.
He said, “Tiwa Savage was my crush in 2018, she gave me my first Backy. She asked me if I smoked. I said yes mama I smoke, and she handed it to me. Since then, I started smoking Backy.”

Crayon, who was formerly signed to Mavin Records, also spoke about his feelings toward Tiwa Savage during that period, saying he had a strong admiration for her before they met.
