Nigerian singer 9ice has shared details about his spiritual journey, revealing that he has been practicing traditional African religion for many years while keeping it away from public attention.
The 46-year-old made the disclosure on Wednesday night during the listening party of his Beginning of Wisdom album held in Yaba, Lagos.
The event also became a moment where he spoke openly about his beliefs and personal growth over the years.
He explained that he has lived as a Babalawo for over 18 years and has quietly followed the path without telling many people.
According to him, he learned how to perform traditional chants, consult the Ifa oracle, and understand the messages believed to come through it.
