Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has revealed that she is facing an unexpected flood of attention after her phone number appeared on Facebook.
The actress in a video on her Instagram page shared that she wakes up every day to thousands of messages from men claiming they want to marry her.
Attempts to remove or change her number on social media have failed, leaving her unable to stop the stream of messages.
Men of different ages and from various locations have been sending introductions and asking if she is single and ready for marriage.
The actress said that blocking or archiving the messages no longer works, and the situation has become too overwhelming.

Despite being single, she is not actively looking for a husband and has asked people to stop contacting her.
Nkechi Blessing also revealed that some of the messages include insults about her age and marital status, which she finds unfair and exhausting.
She cannot easily change her number because it is connected to many personal and professional matters.
Currently, her WhatsApp contains over 5,000 unread messages, leaving her drained by the constant calls and texts.
She described the experience as overwhelming and said handling that level of attention from so many people at once is impossible.

“Facebook people, leave me alone.”
“I’m sure you people are going to see this video. I will still consider, and I can’t. Even if I delete my Facebook, the number will still be there.
“I don’t put another number where I know they will use it. I don’t dump for somewhere. This number they are calling is a number that I cannot change. Thank God it’s the same number I don’t pack them up for Nigeria; if not, the cause for them is very overwhelming.
