Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has shared what she values in a relationship, revealing that cooking is her main way of showing love.
She explained that preparing meals for people she cares about brings her joy, especially when it comes to her partner.
According to her, she naturally expresses affection by making food and often goes out of her way to satisfy cravings, even at odd hours.
The celebrity chef said she does not expect her partner to have cooking skills like hers. Instead, she prefers someone who shows care in other simple ways. For her, a thoughtful partner who can easily order food for her when needed is enough.

She added that this kind of arrangement creates balance in a relationship, where both partners show love in different but meaningful ways. While she takes pleasure in cooking for her man, she also appreciates being cared for through small gestures like having food ordered for her.

She said: “I don’t want a man who knows how to cook. For me I like cooking so much and enjoy it. My friends would tell you how Hilda would show you love is that she’ll send you food, she’ll cook for you. So that’s one of the things I love to do for the people I care about, especially for my man. You can wake me up in the middle of the night and say, Babe I want a donut or I want meatpie and I’m flying to the kitchen to make it for you. So that’s like my thing.
For me, I want a man that can order food for me. If you don’t have a problem ordering me food, I’m in love. My man, I could cook for him and he would order me something to eat.”
