Nigerian Grammy Award-winning singer Temilade Openiyi, famously known as,Tems is proudly celebrating her curves and identity as a Black woman.
In a recent chat with Cocoa Butter in Atlanta, Georgia, the “Love Me Jeje” singer shared what she loves most about being a Black woman, and for her, it’s all about body positivity.

“My favourite thing about being a black woman? I love being curvy. I love that I have a little booty, you know what I’m saying?” Tems said with a smile.
The 28-year-old artist, known for her soulful vocals and bold fashion sense, has consistently used her platform to embrace authenticity, whether in music, style, or self-expression.

She also opened up about her unique fashion inspirations, revealing that her Nigerian roots play a major role in shaping her sense of style.
“I’m definitely into details. I’m definitely into the bling. I think Nigerians are very extravagant in everything and I’m very into that. But I always put my own (sic) spin and I’m not afraid to be who I am,” she added.
Tems, who shot to global fame through collaborations with artists like Wizkid and Drake, continues to make waves on the international stage — not just for her music, but for her confidence, authenticity, and cultural pride.
