Ibidun Ighodalo was a beautiful soul. She was the wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Senior Pastor of Trinity Church. Ibidun Ighodalo sailed with the wind last Sunday when she breathed her last.
Reportedly, the former beauty queen died in her hotel room in Port Harcourt. Encomiums poured in upon the hearing of her death. Her family, friends, and well-wishers were taken aback at the death of the former face of Lux.
Death is a price we all must pay. We can’t escape it. It is part of our existence on earth. However, we do not pray to leave this earth at a young age. We pray to leave when we have fulfilled our days here on earth.
The family of Ibidun Ighodalo is in grief. They have lost their daughter, wife, mother, friend, and pastor to the cold hands of death. Ibidun was an epitome of beauty. She glowed from within. She was a beauty beyond words. Her lifestyle spoke for her, even in death.
Tributes have been flowing since she passed on. It has definitely not been easy for her family either. Losing a loved one is not that easy. The pain, the sorrow, and the memories one has to live with can be a burden.
Yesterday, Ibidun Ighodalo was laid to rest. She was lowered to mother earth amidst tears. She will be greatly missed by all. Many persons have talked about her impact in their lives.

Asue Ighodalo, the brother of Ituah Ighodalo stated that Ibidun’s mother had planned a house gift for her. Her reason being that Ibidun was a blessing to her as a mother. Her life was exemplary. She was a shinning light to many lives.
Ibidun Ighodalo has sailed with the wind. May the good Lord grant her family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
