Afrobeats singer Ruger has shared how he lost a chance to appear in a movie by Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele some years ago.
He said the chance came through a direct message, but he did not see it at the time.
Ruger explained during a chat with VJ Adams that he later discovered Funke Akindele had reached out to him online about joining one of her film projects.
By the time he noticed the message, it was already too late, and the opportunity had passed.

He said the situation still bothers him because it could have been a big step into acting for him.
According to him, he has interest in acting and would not mind taking roles in movies if the opportunity comes again.
The singer also said acting may not be easy for him because he does not enjoy being on set for long hours, but he believes he can adapt if the role is interesting enough and allows him to get into character properly.

“I am interested in acting and wouldn’t mind going into the movie industry. I once missed a DM from Funke Akindele for a movie role. I didn’t even see it on time. That one still pains me,” he said.
“However, I think acting would be difficult for me because I don’t like shooting. But I would get into character still. If my character is interesting, yeah,” he added
