“It’s a blessing to carry your child in your womb” — Woli Arole to ‘woke’ women promoting surrogacy

Nigerian comedian, Woli Arole has told women that it is a blessing to carry their own babies in their wombs.

He shared this view while reacting to media personality Ifedayo Agoro’s decision to have children through a surrogate, even though she has no fertility issues.

His reaction came after media personality and Diary of a Naija Girl founder, Ifedayo Agoro, said she plans to have children through a surrogate despite having no fertility issues.

Agoro, who is 42 and recently married, shared a video online stating that although she is perfectly healthy and can carry a child, she prefers not to use her womb.

According to her, she does not owe anyone an explanation for this decision and insisted that women should not be judged for choosing surrogacy out of personal preference.

Woli Arole, however, disagreed.

He posted on Instagram, saying that surrogacy should be an option only when there is a medical reason.

He described it as a blessing for women to carry their own children and added that personal convenience should not replace this natural process.

He also called on people not to be carried away by modern ideas that go against their values.

He wrote:

“Listen carefully, it is a blessing for a WOMAN to carry her baby in her WOMB. That’s how GOD wants IT. Don’t let WOKENESS derail you. Unless for medical reasons she can adopt options like Surrogacy, IVF and all. You can’t say my BODY my DECISION, I don’t feel like carrying a child I want SURROGACY. Nooooo!!!. Your body is is God’s TEMPLE!!!”
