Lagos govt compensates 150 landowners for acquired properties

The Lagos State Government, under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday presented cheques to 150 beneficiaries as compensation for lands acquired for developmental projects.

Mr Sanwo-Olu revealed this in a statement on his X page.

He said the symbolic public presentation underscored his government’s commitment to fair compensation and inclusive development in the state.

Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted that the compensations align with the state’s broader goal of fostering community involvement in projects that serve the public good.
