Lucas Digne will return to Paris Saint-Germain after a decade away, with the French champions triggering his release clause at Aston Villa in a deal worth under €10 million.
The French left-back will return to the club after a decade and serve as backup to Nuno Mendes.
PSG have already informed Aston Villa of their intention to pay the clause after the World Cup. Digne has accepted a role as backup to Nuno Mendes at the Parc des Princes.
The 32-year-old is under contract with Aston Villa until 2028. He registered seven assists last season.
Digne previously played for PSG between 2013 and 2016. He won two Ligue 1 titles during that spell. Since leaving Paris, he has played for Barcelona, Everton and Aston Villa.
He helped Aston Villa win the Europa League in 2026. He is currently at the World Cup with France.
