Lionel Messi’s sister, Maria Sol, has reportedly delayed her upcoming wedding after being involved in a serious car crash in Miami.
The 32-year-old was said to have suffered multiple injuries, including fractures to her spine and wrist, heel damage and burns, leading to an immediate halt in her wedding preparations.
Her condition initially caused widespread concern, but Argentine journalist Ángel de Brito revealed on América TV’s LAM program that Messi’s mother confirmed she is now “out of danger.” However, Maria still faces a lengthy recovery process and will require close medical care moving forward.

She had been scheduled to marry her fiancé, Julián “Tully” Arellano, an Inter Miami U-19 coach, in her hometown of Rosario on January 3.
The event was expected to gather the entire Messi family, including Lionel Messi, who famously married Antonela Roccuzzo in the same city.
