Senator Ned Nwoko has declared his intention to seek re-election to the Senate in 2027.
He pledged to build on his current work and deliver fully on his promises to the people of Delta North.
He made the announcement in Asaba, the Delta State capital, after what he described as a “powerful and deeply moving” reception from constituents and supporters.
Reflecting on the turnout, the lawmaker said the warm welcome reaffirmed the strong connection he shares with his people and strengthened his resolve to remain in public service.

“Moments like this remind me why I started this journey in the first place—to serve, to speak, and to deliver for Anioma,” he said.
Nwoko’s declaration effectively ends speculation about his next political move.
He explained that his decision to seek another term was driven by the need for continuity, particularly to complete key legislative efforts already underway.

The senator, who has consistently positioned himself as a vocal representative of his district at the national level, described the 2027 race as a shared mission with his constituents.
“The road to 2027 is clear, and we move forward together,” he added, signalling that his campaign will centre on his record in office and the delivery of ongoing commitments.
