Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Neymar Jr will be available for Brazil’s next World Cup group match against Scotland, marking the forward’s return after recovering from a calf injury.
Speaking after Brazil’s 3–0 victory over Haiti on Friday, Ancelotti said, “Neymar will train individually on Saturday. On Sunday he will be with the team and he will be ready for the game against Scotland.” He also stressed that Neymar “will be available” when Brazil closes Group C play on Wednesday in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The 34‑year‑old forward had missed Brazil’s opening draw against Morocco and the win over Haiti due to the injury sustained in May while playing for Santos. His absence raised doubts about his fitness, but Ancelotti insisted Neymar’s experience and leadership were vital for the squad.

Brazil currently sits second in Group C, with the clash against Scotland on Wednesday, June 24, in Miami Gardens set to determine their qualification prospects. Neymar’s return is expected to boost the team’s attacking options alongside Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo.
