Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his two years in office, describing his leadership as remarkable and impactful across key sectors of the economy.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Oyebanji praised the President for what he called stabilising the “ship of state” through life-changing policies that have positively affected the economy and other areas of governance.
The governor commended Tinubu’s courage in confronting the numerous challenges he inherited, stating that the President’s solutions have begun to bring relief to Nigerians.
He also highlighted the visible results of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda, saying it has strengthened the political and economic landscape.
“It is fulfilling and heartwarming to note that under two years of President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is in better shape than at any time in the past decade, based on existing microeconomic and macroeconomic indices,” Oyebanji said.

He applauded Tinubu’s investment in agriculture, mining, the blue economy, tourism, and other critical sectors, expressing optimism that such efforts would improve living standards and create more jobs for Nigerians.
Oyebanji further lauded the administration’s economic reforms, noting that they have boosted the financial capacity of state governments, enabling faster growth and development at the sub-national level.
The governor also expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the state for various federal interventions, including empowerment initiatives, capital projects, political appointments for qualified Ekiti indigenes, and the establishment of a new federal university.
He called on Ekiti citizens at home and in the diaspora to continue supporting President Tinubu in his vision for a more prosperous Nigeria.
