Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Tonto Dikeh, has denied claims that he is undergoing a divorce with his partner, Rosy Meurer, insisting that there was never a legally binding marriage between them.
His response follows widespread reports alleging a marital crisis between the couple.
According to reports, Meurer had initiated divorce proceedings after Churchill allegedly reconciled with his former wife, Dikeh, who is now an evangelist.
Reacting to the circulating divorce documents, Churchill took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to refute the claims. In a series of posts, he described the idea of a divorce as unfounded, maintaining that their union lacked any legal framework that would necessitate such a process.
He also raised concerns about the authenticity of the documents and questioned the competence of Meurer’s legal representation. Churchill clarified that what existed between them was merely an introduction, not a formal marriage.

“What took place was an introduction. Therefore, the idea of a “divorce” is baseless from the outset.
“The reports circulating online about a supposed divorce between myself and Roseline Meurer are completely false. There is no truth to them. There was no legally recognized marriage. There was no church wedding and no court wedding.
“Beyond that, any legitimate legal process requires that all parties be formally served and given the opportunity to respond. I was never served. So I ask a simple question: what exactly is being presented to the public, and how was it obtained?
“I’m 100% sure that individuals without proper experience in the media space are advising Rosy incorrectly, alongside legal practitioners who operate under a mango tree without due process and claim to produce divorce documents within 24 hours”, he said.
