Gambian-born Nollywood actress, Rosy Meurer, has reacted to online claims that her marriage to Olakunle Churchill is facing trouble.
The actress took to her Instagram story on February 18, 2026, to address critics who have continued to question her relationship.
She made it clear that she would not remain silent or feel trapped in her marriage because of public opinion.
According to her, she believes in love and would never stay in a situation where she feels unhappy.
She said that if there is ever a time she is no longer comfortable in her marriage, she would walk away on her own terms and not because of pressure from outsiders.
Rosy stated that for a long time, many people have flooded her page with negative comments and accusations.

She explained that while critics feel free to post what they like about her, they expect her to keep quiet when it is time for her to speak about her own life.
She insisted that she has the right to tell her side of the story since it concerns her personal journey.
The actress also reacted to repeated claims that she once had a close friendship with Tonto Dikeh or that she worked as her husband’s personal assistant in the past.
She dismissed both claims and described them as false narratives that have been pushed online for years.
She said she has never been anyone’s personal assistant and denied taking another woman’s husband.
Rosy further expressed frustration over what she described as constant attacks from social media users.
She noted that she has tried to stay focused on her own life and maintain respect, but the steady stream of accusations has continued.
According to her, remaining silent has only encouraged more rumours, and she now feels the need to defend herself publicly.
