Nigerian music sensations Odumodublvck and Wizkid have won the Best Afro-Rap Fusion category at the 2025 East African Entertainment Awards (EAEA), securing a major career highlight for both artistes.
The winning song marks the first track from Odumodublvck’s 2025 album Industry Machine to earn formal recognition, further cementing the project’s growing influence across Africa.

The album, celebrated for its experimental sound and thoughtful lyricism, also appeared on Spotify’s Best of Global Hip Hop 2025 Editors’ Picks, where it placed at No. 9 — the only African album featured alongside international stars such as Drake.
Wizkid, who collaborated on the award-winning track, also claimed the title of Best Continental Male Songwriter (Africa), adding yet another milestone to his impressive awards haul.
