There was tension in the early hours of Saturday after a generator caught fire at the new residence of popular TikTok creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller.
The incident happened at his recently completed home and caused fear among those inside the building.
According to a video he shared on his Instagram page, the generator suddenly went up in flames and almost caused serious damage to the house.
In the clip, which has now spread across social media, flames could be seen rising from the generator while Peller cried out in fear.

The situation created confusion as people in the house rushed to stop the fire from spreading. He was heard calling on the name of Jesus repeatedly as the fire burned.
During the incident, he directed those around him to quickly pour water on the generator to put out the flames. It reportedly took more than 30 minutes before the fire was completely put out.
After the fire was controlled, it was discovered that only the generator was damaged. The building itself did not suffer any structural damage.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. Everyone in the house was confirmed safe after the fire was extinguished.
He wrote: “This happened early this morning. My new generator almost burnt down my new house, but God saved us, it took us over 30 minutes to off the fire. All I can say is God saved us”.
