Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has expressed her readiness to mend fences with Nigerian music star, Davido, nearly two years after their public disagreement on social media.
The dispute dates back to October 2023 when Davido liked a post on X that described Phyna’s fans as “useless.” Reacting at the time, Phyna, who was congratulating the singer over the birth of his twins with Chioma, questioned whether she had done anything to deserve what she perceived as hostility from him.
Davido, however, responded by saying he did not know who Phyna was. In reply, the reality TV star said “God knows me” and went on to unfollow the singer on Instagram.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Phyna said she would be open to having a live session with Davido and publicly apologising to him if given the chance.
“I will like to stream Davido”.

She further reflected on their past exchange, stating that she needed clarity on what truly caused the misunderstanding before offering an apology.
“If I have the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it. Yea he senior me, he choke pass me normal. I’m going to tender apology to him, but before rendering the apology, we need to understand where that our quarrel really dey come from.
“Like baba Ibeji needs to really tell me that na by mistake him take like that comment wey cause probably. Then he will now explain his side of the issue because you see that I don’t know you wey baba Ibeji talk, e fit be like say na we take am the wrong way”, she said in pidgin.
Phyna’s comments suggest she is seeking reconciliation and a better understanding of the events that led to their fallout.
