Two British-Nigerians who both graduated from St Peters Unity Secondary School Akure (SPUSSA) were elected as councillors in last week’s local elections in the UK.
According to report reaching our desk from our correspondent in England. The two elected councillors namely; Babatunde Ajisola and Ben Adewale – graduated from the illustrious citadel in Ondo State in 1995 and 1991 respectively.
We also gathered that both men are members of the SPUSSA Alumni Association, UK. Babatunde Ajisola, who is said to be the current coordinator of the Alumni and an active member of APC UK, won in Northwell Ward where 3 Labour party candidates were elected.

Meanwhile, in Monkston Ward in Milton Keynes, the Liberal Democratic’s candidate, Ben Adewale won beating Jaime Tamagnini, the Conservative candidate and Monica Dowling of the Labour party. The inspiring news has been received with elation within the SPUSSA community worldwide.
