Nigerian gospel singer Steve Crown and his wife, Ruth Thomas, have welcomed their first child, marking a new milestone in their marriage.
The singer shared the joyful news on Instagram on Saturday through a video featuring himself and his wife dressed in white, with Ruth visibly pregnant.
Celebrating the arrival of their baby, Steve Crown expressed gratitude to God and described the moment as a special blessing.
“Some blessings cannot be explained, they can only be celebrated. Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done. Thank You Jesus for the gift of our baby,” he wrote.
The gospel artiste also offered prayers for others trusting God for the same experience.
“A new chapter, a new blessing, a new reason to thank God every day. May God bless everyone that desires this beautiful testimony. Amen,” he added.

Steve Crown and Ruth Thomas tied the knot on April 26, 2025, after making their engagement public earlier that month.
While announcing their engagement, the singer described their relationship as a union ordained by God.
Ruth, who works as an interior decorator and event planner, exchanged vows with the ‘You Are Great’ crooner during a church wedding attended by family members, friends and members of the gospel music community.
The birth of their first child comes a little over a year after the couple’s wedding, adding another reason for celebration among their family, friends and supporters.
