Having missed the previous game, he returned with intensity and control. He scored 27 points and dominated defensively in a convincing win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Wembanyama later admitted mixed emotions, saying: “I had lots of emotions before the game.”
The NBA’s concussion protocol had kept him sidelined briefly. However, he hinted at dissatisfaction, stating: “I won’t get into the details.”
