“Wolves stand united” — Club condemns racist attacks on Tolu Arokodare

Wolves back striker Arokodare following online racial abuse.

Wolverhampton Wanderers has spoken out after striker Tolu Arokodare faced vile racist abuse on social media.

The attacks followed Wolves’ 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday, during which Arokodare missed a penalty just before halftime.

The club vowed unwavering support for their forward. “Tolu has our full and unwavering support. No player should be subjected to such hatred simply for doing their job,” Wolves stated.

Zero tolerance: Wolves commit to action against racism

Wolves stressed, “There is no place for racism – in football, online, or anywhere in society. We condemn this abhorrent and unlawful behaviour in the strongest possible terms.”
