Wolves finally tasted league victory in the 2025/26 Premier League season as they swept aside struggling West Ham in a commanding triumph at Molineux.
It was Rob Edwards’ first Premier League win as head coach, and it instantly breathed hope into a difficult season.
They doubled their points tally in one unforgettable night after Jhon Arias, Hwang Hee-chan and Mateus Mane struck before halftime. West Ham, meanwhile, looked lost for ideas, remained in deep relegation danger, and could not find any meaningful response.

With both teams owning fragile defences, an early goal always felt inevitable and Wolves delivered inside four minutes to lift the crowd.
Hwang later buried a penalty with calm precision, while teenage sensation Mane powered home a stunning low drive for his first senior goal.
Although the second half carried more balance, the contest had already slipped beyond West Ham’s reach, and frustration continued to grow. As Wolves finally celebrated relief, the Hammers left with heavier pressure and darker doubts.
