You went overboard – E-money scolds Carter Efe for destroying car gift

Popular businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, has expressed displeasure after streamer Carter Efe damaged a brand new car he received as a gift.

The incident followed a viral livestream on Saturday where Carter Efe and fellow content creator Peller were seen destroying each other’s vehicles.

The shocking act left many viewers surprised as both men attacked the cars during the broadcast.

E-Money had earlier presented the car to Carter Efe as a show of support and appreciation for his work in the entertainment space. However, less than a day after receiving the vehicle, it was wrecked during the online stunt.

On Sunday, Carter Efe visited E-Money alongside Peller. During the meeting, the businessman openly shared his disappointment over what happened.

He made it clear that he was not pleased that the car he gifted was damaged so quickly. He explained that the gesture was meant to encourage and support the streamer’s efforts.

E-Money also stated that many people were watching the livestream, and such actions send the wrong message to the public. Although he said he has forgiven Carter Efe for what happened, he warned that such behaviour should not be repeated.

He said: “To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Cater Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing.

“You went overboard by destroying the car. You know, a lot of people were watching you. However, the mistake has already been made. I forgive you. But it should not happen again.”
