Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the immediate dissolution of several state boards and commissions following the expiration of their statutory tenures.
The decision was announced in a statement yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
This marks a fresh administrative reset across key government institutions in the state.
The affected bodies include four major boards and commissions, as well as education administrators at the local level.

The Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board and Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.

The governor also confirmed that Education Secretaries across all 18 local government areas have completed their tenure.
Vacation
To ensure continuity in governance, the governor directed all outgoing chairpersons, commissioners, board members, and Education Secretaries to vacate office without delay.
They were further instructed to formally hand over all government assets and responsibilities to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

“The affected officials are hereby directed to hand over all government properties and duties to the most senior Administrative Officers in their respective offices,” the statement read.
Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the outgoing office holders for their service, describing their contributions as valuable to the state’s development during their period in office.
