President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to the Nigerian people following U.S. President Donald Trump’s public statement condemning acts of genocide in Nigeria.

In a statement released on his official X account, the President expressed deep concern about terrorism and assured citizens that a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria remains possible.

Not long ago, U.S President Donald Trump made an official statement on Christians facing an existential threat in Nigeria.

He noted Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) and made it clear that if the killings did not stop, he would instruct his Department of War to prepare for possible action.
