Nigerian Singer Peter Okoye has spoken out against what he described as efforts to shut him up over his comments on insecurity and governance in Nigeria.
The music star made the comment on X on Sunday after facing online reactions to his recent remarks about the country’s security situation.
He said he will continue to speak on insecurity and poor governance and will not be pressured to stop.

He also reacted to critics who he believes are being paid to attack him online, saying he is ready for any attempt to cancel him.

He wrote:“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready. If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me to I DONE FALL OUT!”.
Peter, one half of the music group P-Square, has in recent years become more vocal on social and political issues. He often uses his social media pages to speak on leadership, accountability, and national challenges.
