Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the conduct of the 2025 promotion examination for all eligible staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).
The approval was announced today in Ilorin by the Chairman of the Commission, Bello Tauheed Abubakar, while addressing the TESCOM management staff in his office.
Abubakar described the governor’s approval as a further demonstration of his administration’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of teachers across the state.

He noted the consistent action of AbdulRazaq in clearing and cash-backing outstanding promotions.
The TESCOM Chairman recalled that since assuming office in 2019, the governor had cash-backed promotions for the years 2015, 2016, and 2017, and has subsequently extended the cash backing to include the promotions for 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The Chairman urged all affected TESCOM staff to maintain their commitment to their official duties to ensure sustained and effective service delivery.

He further assured staff that the present administration remains committed to giving necessary attention to their welfare to motivate them for improved performance.
The date for the promotion examination, he added, will be communicated to the affected staff shortly.
