Nollywood actress and filmmaker Laide Bakare has revealed plans to walk down the aisle again, marking what will be her third marriage.
Speaking during a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, the actress explained that despite her past marital experiences, this upcoming union would be her first “official” marriage.
“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she said.
Bakare noted that arrangements for the ceremony are already in progress, although she chose not to reveal the wedding date or the identity of her fiancé.

The actress has previously been married twice. Her first marriage was to U.S.-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she has a daughter, Simi. Following their separation, she tied the knot with Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the marriage produced two sons.
However, the second marriage ended after Orilowo was reportedly declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in 2014 over alleged fraud.

In an earlier appearance on the Real Life With Aunty Ayo podcast, Bakare had also stated that she would not hesitate to marry up to five times if previous relationships did not succeed.
