Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has resumed full team training this week after a long injury return, raising hopes he will feature in the Champions League quarter‑final against Paris Saint‑Germain.

The 26‑year‑old missed action since December with a fractured fibula and ankle injury.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on X on Thursday, “Alexander Isak returns in team training with the Liverpool squad this week after a long injury. He’s expected to be called up this weekend and then against PSG.”

Isak has steadily worked his way back to fitness, and training again with the group under manager Arne Slot marks a significant step in his recovery.

Liverpool may include him in the squad for this weekend’s FA Cup clash against Manchester City, though the club is expected to ease him back carefully, with a place on the bench more likely than a starting role.
