Fernando Alonso has hinted that he may continue racing beyond the current Formula 1 season. The veteran driver says he remains motivated despite ongoing challenges.
Speaking recently, he admitted his passion for the sport remains strong, saying: “I love what I do. I love racing.”
He added: “The moment I have to stop… will be very hard.”
The 44-year-old continues to feel competitive behind the wheel. He stated: “At the moment, I don’t feel it is that time yet.”
Performance issues fail to dampen Alonso’s drive
Aston Martin entered the season with high expectations but have struggled significantly. Issues with both engine reliability and car performance have slowed progress.

Reports indicate the chassis has contributed heavily to their struggles. Design setbacks have left the team trailing key rivals in development.
Despite this, optimism remains within the camp. Improvements are expected as the season progresses and upgrades are introduced.

If improvements arrive, Alonso may extend his career even further. For now, he remains focused, determined, and far from finished.
