The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the appointment of Ayoola Olajolo as the new Director of Administration at its National Secretariat.
The appointment was confirmed by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
A lawyer and public administrator, Olajolo brings more than two decades of experience to the role.
The statement highlighted his “formidable combination of legal expertise, grassroots political understanding, and high-level bureaucratic acumen.”
Olajolo, an indigene of Ile-Ife, Osun State, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.

His public service career began with a focus on local government administration, where he served as Secretary of Ife Central Local Government from 1999 to 2003, before being elected as its Chairman.
These roles, according to the statement, were instrumental in shaping his administrative skills and providing him with a deep understanding of local governance.
He later joined the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he rose to the position of Assistant Chief Legal Officer.
In this capacity, he managed complex administrative and legal processes for the agency.
In his new role, Olajolo will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the National Secretariat.
His duties will include implementing efficient operational systems, managing human resources, and ensuring the smooth execution of the party’s programs and activities.
The appointment fills a vacancy left by the death of the previous Director of Administration, Rauf Adeniji, who was also from Ile-Ife.
